Smith, Valentine. Valentine Smith was created by Percy Brebner (Christopher Quarles, Valentine West) and appeared in six stories in All-Story Weekly in 1918, beginning with “The Missing Signorina” (All-Story Weekly, July 27, 1918).

Valentine Smith is a U.S. Secret Service agent who helps foreign governments resolve sticky situations involving their enemies within the boundaries of the United States. He is also a misogynist who has little time for women.
