Sky Buddies. The Sky Buddies were created by Edith J. Craine and appeared in the four-book “Sky Buddies” series, beginning with The Air Mystery of Isle La Motte (1930) and concluding with Flying to Amy-Ran Fastness (1932).

The Sky Buddies are a pair of stalwart teenage aviators, based in Texas, who travel around the world in their planes, variously helping the Canadian Mounties, fighting against a secret society that marked itself with emerald rings, fighting against giant vultures over Cuzco, finding a Lost Race in the Andes, fighting against "revolutionists" in Bolivia, solving a ghost mystery, and traveling to Belize.
