Skarratt, Inspector. Inspector Skarratt was created by J.S. Fletcher (Turco Bullworthy, Ronald Camberwell, Paul Campenhaye, Sergeant Charlesworth, Archer Dawe, Richard Goulburn) and appeared in Marchester Royal (1909), Wolves and the Lamb (1914), and Secret of Secrets (1929).

Inspector Skarratt works for Scotland Yard. Skarratt “might have been a soldier in mufti, or a cricketer in ordinary attire, or a professional instructor of gymnastics minus his usual paraphernalia.” He is known as one of the Yard’s sharpest and most acute men.
