Silver King. The Silver King was created by the Australian creators Henry Arthur Jones and Henry Herman and appeared in the radio serial The Silver King (1941-?).

Will Denver persuades Nell Hathaway to break off her engagement with Geoffrey Ware. In revenge, Ware persuades Denver to bet his entire fortune on a horse race, which Ware rigs so that Denver loses everything. Ware further has a man murdered and placed in Denver’s room. Denver flees to California, earns a new fortune as “The Silver King” and returns to London to win back Hathaway, defeat Ware’s ally, the Lupin Spider, and avenge himself on Ware.
