The Seven Children of Écija. The Seven Children of Écija were a gang of outlaws active in the Sierra Morena in Andalusia in the 1820s and 1830s. They appeared as the heroes of the Spanish dime novel Los Siete Ninos de Ecija #1-16 (1933?).

Los Siete Ninos portrayed the Seven Children as romantic and essentially kind-hearted Gentlemen Bandits.

The Seven Children appear in stories with titles like “The Assault on the Inn.”
