Seehorst, Captain. Captain Seehorst was created by the German author Leopold Wogenhart and appeared in Detektiv-Abenteuer des Kapitän Seehorst #1-21 (1920).
Captain Seehorst is a sailor and adventurer whose travels take him around the world, so that in one story he helps an Indian Rajah recapture a stolen diamond, in the next story he fights pirates in the Indian Ocean, and in the third story he is trapped in a pit of scorpions in Africa. Seehorst also fights a Yellow Peril “death cult” in Japan, female thieves in Samoa, and Zulus in South Africa.
Seehorst appears in stories with titles like “Hunting Pirates,” “The Island of Obliteration,” and “Finally Discovered.”
