Scraper, William. William Scraper was created by “Alex Wilkie,” the pseudonym of the Spanish author Alberto Luis Perez, and appeared in several stories in Misterio and three novels from the late 1930s to 1945.

William Scraper is a Scotland Yard inspector. He is Watsoned by the journalist Johnny Winterton of the Daily Mirror.
