Scott, Jim. Jim Scott appeared in a number of stories in The Startler in 1930, beginning with The Startler #1 (Mar. 1, 1930).

Jim Scott is an Africa Hand. He is “the Sky Cop,” the flying enforcer of the law all across Africa. With the help of his partner, Kipper Kennedy, Scott flies the powerful air and sea plane, the Flying Frog, from the Sahara to Madagascar, fighting criminals, natives, and enemy spies.
