Safety First Club. The Safety First Club was created by William T. Nichols and appeared in the three-book “Safety First Club” series, beginning with The Safety First Club (1916) and concluding with The Safety First Club Fights Fire (1923).

The two Safety First Club members are civic-minded teenagers who fight fires and floods and the like.
