Rural Swordsman. The Rural Swordsman was created by the Chinese creator Ren Pengnian (Black Peony, Flying Tiger, Fong Sai Yuk, Mistress of the Spear, Sam-neung, Yi Zhimei) and appeared in the film series Guandong Daxia (1928-1931).

The Rural Swordsman is a Nüxia/Wüxia. He is from Guāndōng, in northeast China, and travels across the Chinese countryside acting as a bodyguard, dispensing justice, and fighting bandits and other evil men.
