Rawley, Iron. Iron Rawley was created by Dick Denver and appeared in a number of stories in High Spot Magazine, beginning with “Odds Agin’ You” (High Spot Magazine, Mar. 1931).

Iron Rawley used to be a boxer. He’s 180 pounds of brawn and scar tissue, and he began his boxing career in a free-for-all, and his two fists are “as certain and expert as an executioner’s axe...Iron Rawley’s profession had left him crooked of nose and thick of ear, but his mind was not thick, nor his methods crooked.” But Rawley’s best friend, Federal agent Kent, was murdered, and now Rawley and Hening, another Fed, are investigating crooked carnivals, trying to find Kent’s killer.
