Québécois Scientists. The Québécois Scientists were created by the pseudonymous “Louis Champagne” and appeared in the Canadian dime novel Les Aventures Futuristes de Deux Savants Canadiens Français #1-10 (1949-1950).

In the future two Québécois scientists--Marcel Larouche, former professor of nuclear physics, and Robert Morin, former professor of physics--create a spaceship, the Cosmobus. Accompanied by their assistant Adele Lafrance, they travel into space and confront a variety of alien terrors around the solar system.

The Québécois Scientists appear in stories with titles like “Prisoners of Venus,” “The 18-inch Men,” and “Plants that Speak.”
