Prem. Prem was created by the Indian director R.N. Vaidya and appeared in the film Fauladi Mukka (1936).

Prem is a hero policeman who goes after a master criminal who kidnaps women and uses a technologically advanced television apparatus to deliver ransom demands. Prem undertakes many exploits, most involving jumps and races with his beloved motorcycle, to get the latest kidnap victim (the daughter of a wealthy businessman) back from the master criminal and his gang.
