The Phoenis. The Phoenis was created by Wall Spence and appeared in the play Whispering Walls (1936).

The Phoenis is a masked master criminal carrying out murders for mysterious ends. He is assisted by the fiendish Dr. Rosmer, an Evil Surgeon who dabbles in the occult. The heroes of Whispering Walls are forced to hold a seance in order to counter Rosmer’s magic and find a solution to the problem.
