The Phantom of Cursitor Fields. The Phantom of Cursitor Fields was created by “Henry Pope,” a pseudonym of Alfred Edgar (Napoleon Berg, Jack Durrant, Iron Hagan, Martin Holt, Octavius Kay, Jack Keen, Professor Powerby), appeared in twenty-seven stories in Bullseye in 1931, beginning with Bullseye #14 (Apr. 25, 1931).

By day the Phantom of Cursitor Fields is Mr. Jolly, Warden of the Cursitor Fields prison. By night, he is the daring Robin Hood of crime, the Phantom of Cursitor Fields, who stalks all of London and whose goal is to give stolen land back to the poor.
