Phantom Thief (II). The Phantom Thief (II) was created by the Mexican creator Alfonso Tirado (El Alacran, Frankenstein, Huapactzin, Moab, Moctezuma, Dick Morgan, Oceyolotl, Pirate Queen (III), Karl Rice) and appeared in the comic strip “El Ladrón Fantasma” (Pepin, Aug. 4, 1938-Sept. 14, 1939).
The Phantom Thief (II) is a Costumed Avenger Killer Vigilante Lupin modeled on Fantômas. The father of an unnamed Mexican man is poisoned, and the man’s legacy is taken away. The Mexican man vows vengeance, and donning evening wear and a domino mask begins robbing from the rich, giving to the poor, keeping some money for himself, and killing those who were responsible for his father’s death.
