Patsy. Patsy was created by Mel Graff and appeared in the comic strip “The Adventures of Patsy” (1935-1950).

Patsy is a moppet whose adventures begin in the kingdom of Ods Bodkins before shifting to the real world. Patsy and her uncle Phil move to Hollywood, where she becomes an actress and begins having the usual adventures, getting involved in the fight against crime, kidnapers, hijackers, escaped cons, and the like, traveling to the South Seas and the North Pole and other places. One of Patsy’s early friends is the Phantom Magician, a Superhuman Costumed Avenger. The Phantom Magician can perform a number of magical deeds, including turning invisible, and is the first costumed superhero in comics.
