Otis, Dr. Dr. Otis was created by the Argentinian author Otto Miguel Cione and appeared in “La Atrevida Operación del Dr. Otis” (Caras y Caretas n133, 1901).

Dr. Otis is an Evil Surgeon. He tries to transplant a lobe from an ordinary brain into the brain of the doctor’s son, who is cruel and wicked. But the son’s blood “poisons” the implant and re-infects the son. Dr. Otis dies of rage at his failure.
