Omar the Black & Omar the Red. Omar the Black & Omar the Red were created by “Achmed Abdullah,” the pseudonym of Alexander Romanoff (Miss Smythe, Mr. Vandewater), and appeared in three stories in Blue Book Magazine in 1942 and 1943, beginning with “Two Swordsmen of High Tartary” (Blue Book Magazine, Sept. 1942).

Omar the Black & Omar the Red are a pair of twin Tartar brothers and swordsmen who have high adventures in “High Tartary” during the 19^th century.
