The Old Scout. The Old Scout was created by “William Taylor,” the pseudonym of the German author John Jühling, and appeared in Der Alte Waldläufer #1-27 (1919-1920).
The Old Scout is an aging scout and Indian fighter active on the western frontier of the United States, Canada, and Mexico in the latter half of the 19th century. He fights criminals, jaguars, and native wizards.
The Old Scout appears in stories with titles like “Across the Salt Sea,” “The Treasure of Mexitli,” and “On a Dark and Bloody Ground.”
