O’Brien, Kenneth. Kenneth O’Brien was created by Edward Gellibrand and appeared in The End of a Cigarette (1924) and The Windblow Mystery (1926).
Kenneth O’Brien is an Africa Hand. He is a wealthy Englishman who returns to London after “ten years of solitude in an up-country station in West Africa” with his friend Alan Dawson. But O’Brien and Dawson encounter murder and are forced to employ their powers of observation and skills as sportsman and African policemen to solve the murders.
