Number 13. Number 13 was created by “Fred Lombard,” the pseudonym of the Canadian author Jacques Lombard, and appeared in L'Espion No 13 l'Infaillible Espion Canadien #1-205+ (1949?-1960?).

Number 13 is a top Canadian spy who fights the Axis powers during World War Two and then Soviet spies and Chinese Yellow Perils around the world after the war ends. He fights the “Vampire of Formosa,” Russian assassins and torturers, Communist spies among the White House staff and traveling circuses, Chinese Femme Fatale cha-cha dancers, and Chinese Evil Surgeons.

Number 13 appears in stories with titles like “Red Inferno,” “Rendez-vous With A Monster,” and “They Wanted to Kill Stalin.”
