Ninja Woman. Ninja Woman appeared in a number of Japanese kamishibai (stories for children told by wandering performers) in the 1930s.

Ninja Woman is a Costumed Avenger. Ninja Woman is a kunoichi (female ninja) who fights against evil in Japan during the Edo period (1601-1867). She uses swords, is an expert at martial arts, has a variety of other ninja skills, and always goes into action wearing the same ninja costume, complete with mask.
