The New Robinson. The New Robinson was created by the German author Heinz Waldau and appeared in Ein Neuer Robinson #1-60 (1912-1913).

The New Robinson is shipwrecked on an atoll in the South Pacific and spends his life wandering from island to island, trying and at last succeeding in escaping from it. Meanwhile, he encounters ships of pirates, horrific storms, Lost Race white Polynesians, cannibals, “Wizard Island,” the malign “Otta, the Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” “the Sea Devil,” and “the Fiend,” among others.

The New Robinson appears in stories with titles like “The Mysterious Cave,” “The Terrible Alliance,” and “The Lonely Atoll.”
