Muldoon, Lafayette. Lafayette Muldoon was created by “William Brengle,” a Ziff-Davis pseudonym used in this case by Howard Browne (Wilber Peddie, Tharn) and appeared in five stories in Mammoth Detective and Mammoth Mystery from 1943 to 1945, beginning with “Tavern in the Town” (Mammoth Detective, Nov. 1943).

Lafayette Muldoon is a Bellem. He is an investigator for a real estate company, stopping fraud and going after those who would steal from the company. He is cynical, has a smart mouth, and likes chasing women.
