Mott, Daisy Jane. Daisy Jane Mott was created by “Jennifer Jones,” the pseudonym of Margaret Lane and Enid Johnson, and appeared in Murder-on-Hudson (1937), Murder al Fresco (1939), and Dirge for a Dog (1939).

Daisy Jane Mott is a Spinster Detective. She begins as a plump spinster selling real estate. Whether in the course of her real estate business or through her interest in local theater, she continually finds murder victims.
