Merchandon. Merchandon was created by the Belgian author Robert Goffin and appeared in five novels from 1941 to 1943, beginning with Le Nouveau Sphinx.

Merchandon is the Belgian head of counter-espionage. He carries out a prolonged duel with Klagenfurth, the head of the Gestapo. Merchandon is helped by the beautiful Anglo-American spy Carole Smith.
