McLeod, Buck. Buck McLeod was created by Hal Pink (Inspector Docker) and appeared in a number of stories in Chums in 1927.

Buck McLeod is a line rider for the Bar-C Ranch, a spread in northern Montana. McLeod works for “Doc,” the Ranch’s owner, and is best friends with the likable Bob O’Ryan.
