Maud. Maud was created by “Antonin Reschal,” the pseudonym of the French author Antonin Charles Arnaud (Miss Boston), and appeared in Maud, la femme du monde cambrioleuse (1909) and Les Derniers Exploits de Maud (1910).

Maud is a Lupin. She is the greatest female thief and adventuress in the world. She is married to the Comte de Fréville but is bored, horribly bored, with her life, being under the thumb of her husband, and decides to commit crimes until she is finally unmasked by a journalist or detective.
