Marlin, Sean. Sean Marlin was created by the Chinese author Gu Junzheng (Cameron, Stegil) and appeared in “Heping de Meng” (Quewi Kexue, 1935?).

Sean Marlin is an American federal agent who discovers why so many Americans are pleading with the American government not to declare war against the “Far Eastern State.” The cause is a series of hypnotic radio broadcasts from a hidden radio station. The broadcaster is the Yellow Peril Li Guer. Marlin flies to the station, kills three bodyguards, captures Li Guer, and forces him to reverse the broadcast, so that listeners will want America to fight the Far Eastern State.
