Marks, Till. Till Marks was created by the German author Hermann Dressler, and appeared in seventeen stories in Universal-Kriminalbücher from 1921 to 1925, beginning with “Der Doppelgänger” (Universal-Kriminalbücher #1, 1921).
Till Marks is a German Scientific Detective Great Detective modeled on Sherlock Holmes and Craig Kennedy. Marks uses the latest scientific instruments and his own fabulous intellect to solve a variety of crimes, many of which verge on the fantastic and science fictional. Body-swapping psychic villains, Yellow Peril opium lords, radium thieves, messages from the Fourth Dimension—Till Marks faced them all.
