Mario. Mario was created by the Spanish creators José Canellas Casals (Amiel, Armando, Jaime Bazán, Black (III), Carlos and Marcos Bon, Bronkos, Cesar, Judit, Thalma Klan, Nick, Red Circle, Rin-Tin-Tin (I), Sam, Sankro, Spaceman (II), Titán (II), Toby, Capitán Velez, Mack Wan, Fernando Zabal, Zimbra, Khun Zivan) and Francisco Darnis (Carlos and Marcos Bon, Nick, Rin-Tin-Tin (I), Samuel, Spanish Explorers, Tom (I)) and appeared in the comic Mario del Mar #1-2 (1941).

Mario is a Spanish inventor who creates a technologically advanced submarine and uses it for adventure and exploration, even encountering monsters on the ocean floor.

Mario appears in stories with titles like “The Phantom Submarine” and “Horror in the Ocean.”
