Mareuil. Mareuil was created by the French author Pierre Souvestre (Fantômas) and Marcel Allain (Commissaire Boulard, David Dare, Fantômas, Fatalà, Férocias, Miss Téria, Tigris (II)) and appeared in Naz-en-L’Air #1-15 (1912-1913).
Mareuil is a French criminal who is extremely competent and knowledgeable and more than a match for the police and, more importantly, for the foreign spies who plague France.
Mareuil appears in stories with titles like “The Spies of the Air,” "Escaping From Prison,” and “The Fatal Deadline.”
