Mabo. Mabo was created by the Japanese creators Ginjiro Sato and Yoji Chiba and appeared in at least nine films from 1936 to at least 1943, beginning with Mabo no Tokyo Orinpikku Taikai.

Mabo is a spunky young Japanese boy who has a variety of high-spirited adventures, from going to the circus to competing in the 1936 Olympics. During World War Two Mabo joins a paratrooper detachment to fight the White Peril enemy and later joins a group of super-intelligent animals and boy aviators to clear an island of British troops.
