Letty Lou. Letty Lou was created by the Mexican creator Jose G. Cruz (Adelita, Brenty, Juan Sin Miedo, Gerald Meldrick, Monje Negro, Nancy) and appeared in the comic strip “Letty Lou” (Pepin, Mar. 1-July 26, 1938).

Letty Lou is a Superhuman. A group of space gods decide that humanity is suffering too much, so a flaming hand descends from the sky and grants unlimited superpowers to Letty Lou, a six-year-old girl who has just run away from home due to unrelenting abuse by her parents. Letty Lou decides to use her powers to help people, first freeing a cat from a tree and then wiping out yellow fever around the world.
