Lightfoot, Jack. Jack Lightfoot was created by John H. Whitson and “Maurice Stevens,” the pseudonym of Frederick W. Davis (Felix Boyd, Barton Edgeworth, Sidney Garth, Richard Ravenswood), and appeared in All-Sports Library #1-56 (1905-1906), beginning with “Jack Lightfoot’s Challenge; or, The Winning of the Wager” (All-Sports Library, Feb. 11, 1905).

Jack Lightfoot is a brave, studious, athletic teenager at Cranford High School, and later Seagirt Academy. He solves crimes, assisted by a group of friends, and wins a variety of sporting matches.
