Li Fei. Li Fei was created by the Chinese author Lu Dan’an and appeared in a number of stories which were collected in Li Fei Tan’an (1924).

Li Fei is an energetic young Chinese amateur detective. Active in Shanghai, Li always wears tortoise shell glasses (which make him look like a Chinese Harold Lloyd), a long overcoat, and felt hat, and uses modern, scientific methods of investigation and criminal justice to solve crimes.
