Li Ch’ih-chün. Li Ping-heng (?-1900) was a Chinese judge known for his rectitude. In 1902 a fictionalized version of Li Ping-heng appeared in the Chinese author Chung Hui’s Li Gongan Qiwen.

Li Ch’ih-chün is a wandering judge who fights evil and corruption, accompanied by a group of faithful Nüxia/Wüxia. As the novel progresses the threats come less from criminals and more from rebels, who Li and his knights-errant hasten to defeat for the sake of the country’s peace.
