Lenormand, Commissaire. Commissaire Lenormand was created by “Gérard Dixie,” the pseudonym of the French author Henri Musnik (Max Berton, Jack Desly, Daniel Desmond, Guy Dorian, Robert Lacelles, Morland, Michel Vaudreuil), and appeared in Enquêtes du Commissaire Lenormand #1-12 (1944-1945) and Les Aventures du Commissaire Lenormand #1-24 (1945-1947).

Commissaire Lenormand is a Great Detective modeled on Sexton Blake. Lenormand’s adventures were plagiarised from Sexton Blake stories.

Lenormand appears in stories with titles like “The Man in the Turban.”
