Lenoir, Tom. Tom Lenoir was created by the Canadian author Marc Arnim (Yves Gendron, Rapace) and appeared in Collection Romans policiers. Tom Lenoir, le Grand Détective Canadien #1-217 (1945-1953).

Tom Lenoir is a Canadian private detective modeled on Philip Marlowe. Lenoir’s cases are more fantastic than Marlowe’s and involve things like political assassinations, opium smuggling, and masked murderers. He also takes on “the Cat Man,” a Femme Fatale, and Soviet assassins.

Lenoir appears in stories with titles like “Is She a Woman or a Demon?” “A Corpse in the Snow,” and “The Cursed City.”
