Lecoq, Jean. Jean Lecoq was created by “Pierre Saurel,” the pseudonym of the Canadian author Pierre Daignault (IXE-13), and appeared in Fameux Détectives Exploits du Merveilleux Détective Jean Lecoq #1-55 (1943-1948).

Jean Lecoq is a private detective operating out of Montreal. His stories sometimes verge on the fantastic, such as “The Secrets of Dr. Vincent,” about an Evil Surgeon.
