Leatherface (II). Leatherface (II) was created by the Indian creators Batuk Bhatt and Sampatlal Srivastava and appeared in the film Farzande Watan (1939).

Leatherface (II) is a Costumed Avenger. The noble young man Samar lives in a remote section of India which is oppressed by a warlord. Samar hates the warlord’s actions but is in love with the warlord’s sister. All Samar can think to do is put on a leather mask and become the costumed vigilante Leatherface. Leatherface overthrows the warlord, assisted by a gang of fighters, his dog Tiger, and his horse Bahadur, and wins the hand of his lady love.
