Lambert, Lola. Lola Lambert was created by Vingie Roe and appeared in “The Shadow of Granite Ridge” (The Popular Magazine, Mar. 7-Sept 20, 1915).
Lola Lambert is a tall, beautiful, headstrong and stubborn stenographer in New York City who is diagnosed with a spot on her lungs and is sent to a cabin in the mountains of the American West to recover. It’s very primitive, but she adapts to life on the frontier quickly and even befriends and makes a pet of White Ears, an enormous gray wolf. Then adventure and romance come to Lola.
