Lady Luck. Lady Luck was created by Will Eisner (Mr. Mystic, The Spirit) and appeared in the comic strip “Lady Luck” (1940-1946).

Lady Luck is a Costumed Avenger. She is Brenda Banks, a debutante who, bored with the emptiness of the social life, decides to become a vigilante and “modern lady Robin Hood.” Her costume is not that of a traditional comic book vigilante; it is an emerald green gown, emerald green tights, a green hat, and a green silk veil over her face to disguise her identity. She solves blackmail cases, kidnappings, spies, and any other cases that came her way. As Brenda Banks she is in love with Police Chief Hardy Moore, but Moore's job is to bring in Lady Luck.
