Korak. Korak was created by the Mexican creator Jose Gomez Torres and appeared in the comic strip "Korak, el Hombre Demonio" (Pepin, May 20, 1937-Oct. 25, 1939).
At some point in the future the inventor, the Count of Saint Mars, has created a series of robots which he intends to use for the benefit of humanity. But his assistant, the Mad Scientist Korak, wants to use the robots to CONQUER THE WORLD!, and takes over Saint-Mars' lab and the building it is housed in. Korak moves the lab, the building, and all the robots to "Korakia, south of Acapulco," but is pursued and ultimately defeated by Saint-Mars and his new assistant, the Flash Gordon-esque Harry.
