Knaresbrook, Olga. Olga Knaresbrook was created by Hazel Campbell and appeared in a number of stories which were collected in Olga Knaresbrook: Detective (1933).

Olga Knaresbrook is a pretty young woman in a small town who is bored with life and decides to become a private detective. She is 5'3", has wavy hair, soft brown eyes, and a “rose-leaf” complexion, and other (male) private detectives continually underestimate her, to their chagrin. But when Knaresbrook takes on an assistant, Molly Kingsley, Kingsley discovers that Knaresbrook is addicted to drugs, leading Kingsley to commit crimes in order to give Knaresbrook crimes to solve so that she can feel good about herself.
