King Kong (IV). King Kong (IV) was created by the Japanese creator Daijô Aoyama and appeared in the film Edo ni Arawareta Kingu Kongu (1938).

King Kong (IV) is an ancestor of King Kong (I) who swims to Edo, the seat of the Japanese government during the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries, and goes on a rampage similar to that of Kong (I) in New York City. Kong (IV) encounters, among other things, expressionistic architecture, a hunchback, a giant, deadly bee, and an enormous ant lion.
