King, Robby. Robby King was created by the German author Paul Hain (Hitler Youth (I), Robby Ix, Harold Lloyd, Lee Parry) and appeared in Robby King #49-85 (1936-1937).
Robby King is a Great Detective who was the Nazi-approved version of Robby Ix. King is a German detective with offices in Berlin. His cases take him around Europe and around the world, including Mexico and India. He fights the Crime King of Amsterdam, the same Bavarian kobold that Robby Ix fought (in a reboot of the Robby Ix story), and Bedouin bandits. King appears in stories with titles like “The Death Mill,” “Panic in Monte Carlo,” and “Three Landslides in the Night.”
