Kilgerrin, Paul. Paul Kilgerrin was created by “Charles L. Leonard,” the pseudonym of M.V. Heberden (Desmond Shannon) and appeared in eleven novels from 1942 to 1951, beginning with The Stolen Squadron.

Paul Kilgerrin is a gaunt, hard veteran of World War One who now fights against the Red Menace as an agent of U.S. Army Intelligence and later other U.S. government departments. He is assisted by Gerry Cordent, an attractive, liberated widow who is always willing to help Kilgerrin or the U.S.
