Kid Barrow. Kid Barrow was created by “Marton Taiga,” the pseudonym of the Finnish author Martti Löfberg (Inspector Kairala), and appeared in ten novels from 1943 to at least 1948, beginning with Porkkana. Sanomalehtipoika Kid Barrow.
Kid Barrow is an errand boy for a major newspaper in New York City. He fights criminals and other bad men. Over time he time grows up, marries, and has a child who has similar adventures. Kid Barrow is known as “Porkkana” (carrot) because of his red hair.
